Associate Physio and Sports & Clinical MSK Therapist who specialises in Soft Tissue Therapies, Injury care and Rehabilitation will hold the clinic and will then proceed to complete the treatment and patient care after the initial consultation and/or manual mobilisation process provided by Heather Adkin.

I have been a Physiotherapist for over 40 years, working closely with the local community.

After our thorough initial consultation, I provide a range of treatments such as manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, pain relief acupuncture, electrotherapy, taping, and exercise therapy. My key areas of clinical interest have always been in outpatients, treatment of sports-related injuries, post operative orthopaedic rehabilitation and care and rehabilitation of the elderly although expertise was also developed in other areas such as ante and post-natal physiotherapy care and Pilates.

Heather is also a Certified Mulligan Practitioner. The Mulligan concept is a conception of joint and soft tissue mobilisation. She is 1 of only 16 in the UK and has recently been invited to assist on courses teaching this concept to therapist in the UK.
